Thirty Global Relations students attended the United Nations Youth Assembly Global Poverty Summit, held on 19 March at Radford College in the ACT. Following a series of workshops, each student represented a nation at a mock UN Assembly. They debated & voted on resolutions about poverty, indigenous health & refugees.
Congratulations to Liam Jones, who was recognised as an outstanding speaker, and Brendan Hill, who helped facilitate the event.

Congratulations to Hla Tay & K'Neh Moe Joe, who were awarded Country Women's Association grants to assist them in completing their Year 12 studies. Hla & K'Neh wore shirts woven by the Burmese Karen community in Thailand.
