Frequently Asked Questions

Q - I live outside Dickson’s PEA can I enrol at Dickson?

A – Yes, if you live in the ACT.  If submit an application by the due date, meeting the criteria on the enrolment form, your application will be considered. Dickson currently has 794 students enrolled, 424 of these students are in Year 11. The College has capacity to take enrolments out of area.

Q – Can parents go to Class Section Interview?

A -  Yes, absolutely we would encourage this. Interviews are held in-person at feeder schools, and in-person at Dickson College for students who do not attend Campbell, Harrison or Lyneham Schools.

Q – I have a child with a disability can I visit the College, look at the facilities and talk about support programs at Dickson?

A – Yes, please contact the school (by phone or via email – see attached list) and talk to Caitlin Hanby to set up a suitable time.

Q – I live in the College’s PEA but do not attend one of the feeder schools, can I arrange a time to visit the school?

A – Yes, please contact the Principal  to set up a suitable arrangement.
