Secondary Introductory English Centre (SIEC)

Introductory English Centres (IEC) are co-located in Canberra public schools and provide support to newly arrived students with minimal English through intensive language teaching, prior to entry into mainstream schooling.

The SIEC is the only secondary intensive English language learning centre in Canberra for students aged 12-18 years old.

Entry to the SIEC must be via referral from an ACT Public School.
